Amsterdam 2

Today was our second day in Amsterdam! We woke up early and went on a bike tour through the city; it was fun but kind of scary. There are a ton of bikes in Amsterdam so people are everywhere trying to get where they need to be in a hurry plus the cars and the fact that it’s just a pretty big city in general. It was fun though and we all survived. Then we wandered down to the Anne Frank house, everyone went in and I sat outside on the steps and watched the boats go by in Amsterdam. It was lovely and a pretty nice day… a little chilly, but nice and sunny! Then we found this nice little place to eat, Catherine and Jess and I had hot dogs with mustard, the mustard was REALLY intense, but very yummy. We then continued walking down the canals looking in stores and just taking in the city. We went back to our hostel to take naps and freshen up before our last dinner together  our dinner was at a floating restaurant, it was super yummy Chinese! I loved it and it was nice since we hadn’t had Chinese food in forever! After dinner we made our way to the docks where we went on the river cruise boat for a little final farewell party. It was really fun and the boats that they take you down the river in our cool; they are really low to the water and have glass tops. We all had a really nice time together, it’s going to be sad to say goodbye to everyone. We went and met up with another Top Deck group after the boat cruise and danced A LOT and then went home to bed for our drive back to London tomorrow.
