Austria

Today was a long drive into Austria. The road was really windy and when we got closer to the top it started snowing… ugh! The place we are staying in Austria is really cute; it’s a little house B&B kind of place. We are having a BBQ and then a party down stairs with just our group. Vicky said we need a theme so we are doing an anything but clothes party. So we went to the market and got trash bags. After that Vicky and I went on a jog through the countryside with the Alps in the background. It was really pretty and the fresh mountain air was good for the lungs! It was cold though and I got hives. We took showers and then got together for our group picture. I love everyone on the trip and I have made some really great friends. I know we are going to stay in touch and I am hoping to make visits to see them soon! After our picture we went and at BBQ… steak!!! It was so good and then we went upstairs to finagle ourselves into our trash bags. It was really funny, but we made some decent looking outfits. The boys opted for a shock your mother theme and so they all borrowed our skirts and tank tops and dressed up like girls. We made Vicky a dress out of toilet paper and we said she looked like the bride and we were her bridesmaids. So we have a pretend wedding, which was funny because we were in trash bags and the boys were dressed like girls. It was really fun and we played games and had a good time with just our group. Tomorrow we are getting up for our drive into the Rhine Valley, Germany.
